Heading to Vancouver!

Thank you to all for the Watches, Favourites and great comments!
Yar - the old dragon-dog is flying to Vancouver, BC today to attend the Palo Alto Ignite conference at Canada Place. I'll be there until Thursday, staying downtown. As such, my responses to any PMs on here or e-mail may be slower than usual, though I will have plenty of access to the Net. This shouldn't affect the Paw-Post for Friday.
For those of ya from smaller countries, here's some mind boggling craziness of this flight. I'm flying from London, ON, Canada to Vancouver - a distance (as the crow-flies) of 3,256km - and still in the same country. In fact, I can fly the other direction (East) from London and go 2.279 km and still be in Canada (St. John's, NFLD), or... fly 4,441km North and still be in Canada... granted there is like NO one up there. Except Santa... or Superman. ;)
Anyway! Hopefully all goes well with the flights. Ciao!

Its funny how we take Canada's size for granted. We had family over from Europe last summer, and they wanted to know if they would need visas and passports for the drive from Montreal to Burlington. Because in Europe, an 8 hour drive is usually 15 different countries.
Enjoy the Con. You going to do the fun run?
Yep! Flying out of London's wee little airport. Love it though - took a whopping 2 minutes to go through security. XD
Yeah, I've had a few friends from Europe just kinda double-take at the sheer size of Canada, hence why those stats are so so crazy. I mean good gods, even if I want to just drive from London to the nearest town in Manitoba and stay within Ontario while doing it, it's a 23 hour drive!
And... um, dare I asked what the "fun run" is? <_< And no, probably not since I'm a complete introvert and prefer the silence of my hotel room to anything else. XD
They usually have some cool swag for participants.
