the big thing about the wage gap is that there is one ... if you use the wrong statistical view (flat gender comparison).

- I got 2 grad degrees, both in these high paying fields, and the ADMINISTRATORS of these fields wanted more women and were trying to attract more women to their program.

The wage gap is irrevelant, since that's not the point.

I Dont trust them cause of many reasons:

-Their videos of justifying religion, while calling atheists and non-religious people indirectly inmoral.

-Their one vieo where they pretty much openly advertize fossil fuels and saying they are "good" and stuff, while calling people who advocate for Green energy as "anti-fossil fuels activists"

-Between other reasons, like calling themselves a "University" without actually being one....


Also, I dont "trust" you in the sense that I just dont know you personally, and your are just one guy which, as I can tell, is indepentent worker (Correct me if mistaken) so I take your political opinions with a grain of salt like anyone in te internet.

That video was correct, but bias. I won't deny the facts and I've known a lot of what he said has been true for a long time.

But, we've also got to think of society as a massive brain. There is the people who look at facts and say we shouldn't act out of emotion. This is like the left side of the brain. Logical and cold. Factual but a dick.

And there are those who say we should always consider how we feel and let that rule despite the facts. It's soft but caring. Emotional and creative. Sociable but a pussy.

We need both sides of the brain working in balance to make a functioning society. We can't be unfeeling, but we cannot deny facts. Balance.

So, you know what the sad truth is?
Both sides are wrong, and saying one side is better than the other is like saying I'd rather be bitten by a rattlesnake then a funnel web spider. Sure, you maybe right for whatever reasons, but, in the end, you're still dead.

Either way, we're fucked. But, you know what is awesome? We each have the right to say what we think is right. Whether it's the emotion or the fact, we can argue the point and live free with these ideas. And that's a great thing. So, while I may disagree with what you say, I would die to give you the right to say it. And that is awesome.

Just being candid - the feels like moral relativism ... which is a cop-out argument of "if everyone's wrong then you can't criticize anyone."

- classically this is where greedy businessmen and Stalin use "the bottom line" to justify atrocities

using extremes as boundaries and letting fact dictate the rest
- traditional judicial reasoning relies on this the most. A basic human right is established, but can ONLY be enforced if it is presented in a clear and unambiguious way.

using feelings as the driving cause, and facts dictating the means
- this is the current state of the regressive left. If they FEEL disadvantaged, they act on it and use convenient hand-picked stats to back it up. For example, MLK's line about judging by the character and not color is being written off as a non-universal constant because of the greater good. For example: thinking that a wedding cake is a human right, and basically using the courts to enforce mandatory service. That isn't just at all.

- these are the antifa protest rioters. They're also the Little Rock protestors who left behind an environmental disaster of abandoned tents and stray dogs (it's tragic, look it up).



so to counter this feel good rhetoric here's another old addage: opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and they all stink.

I guess the point I want to make is, it's all about balance. You can't just rule with logic or we end up with the Stalinist world and if we just act with emotion we end up like the dark ages where we deny science because it doesn't match our beliefs.

That's actually something that seriously annoys me about SJWs because they discourage people saying what they think because it doesn't make them happy or they don't agree with it. Which is the opposite of social justice.
