This is just to let everyone know why I've been so quiet over the last couple days. Had to spend a few days in the hospital because Type 1 Diabetes sucks and my kidneys are...not doing super great. I'm out now and doing alright, and will be taking another day or two of rest before getting back to notes and commissions. Thanks for understanding!
It's no fun. Constantly having to watch what you're eating (and when) and juggling insulin dosages (if you're on the fast acting stuff and doing the whole carb-counting thing) and having fingers that look more like pincushions from trying to keep track of your sugars ;)
On the 'bright' side, if your kidneys are fucked you're more likely to get the chance of a transplant (they usually do the kidneys AND pancreas together)... Although I think that'd take a lifetime of commissions to cover the cost of surgery, what with you being in the US :/
