I have a question ... when taking commissions, do you only work on your own characters or can you work on other people's characters? If I have asked this before, forgive me ... I cannot remember if we have spoken about commissions.

I work on pretty much anything.

People, Furs, Scalies, Monsters, aliens. OBJECTS. Anything.

It's just themes like SCAT etc. which I don't do.

I gotcha ... you sound pretty much like myself when it comes to subject matter. Gawd, I hate days like this when I cannot think straight ... but I guess if I were to make a commission request, a simple head and bust shot of Israfel done in your style would be what I would ask for. Just to see how you would handle the design. :) Perhaps even be open to some creative ideas ... doesn't need to be cannon, just fun for you and a delight for me, eh? :)
