I meant that maybe when he try to posses someone he could sometimes miss and get possesed by his "prey" instead , the other idea was him meeting some sort of exact copy of him ( physically) with a reversed personality

That seems unlikely if it's a contract cuz wel the person did agree to the terms and voluntarily write his name. So it would also mean he voluntarily gives him body up. But yea I can see what you mean! But I don't think this will ever happen. Winston will probably only take the bodies of the people he can take them from easily.
