I am so pumped. Loved this show as a kid. And it looks like everybody gets a personality this time! X)

Heh, I wish I could time travel. As it is I probably just didn't use the correct amount of temporally situating phrases.

Whoa... I actually really liked that intro! Really Glad they kept the original theme song! Can't say for sure, but I think I caught the first glimpse of Gyro in that intro. Also Interesting that Donald Duck is featured so prominently, guessing he has a bigger role in the new series than he did in the original.

Yeah, the song is super catchy and iconic. I'm okay with Donald Duck being a more regular feature of the show. Not like we've seen him in much recently!

Looking back, I'm honestly surprised they didn't feature Donald more in the original series. I remember him appearing in a few episodes and mentioned in several others, but he was almost always off with the Navy. I actually think it was shown that Donald has to leave Huey, Dewey, and Louie with Scrooge because he was shipping off with the Navy.

Looks good, I hope they give credit to Carl Barks this time around, and not just pass over him.

This new intro looks inferior to the original

It's a simpler (read faster, cheaper) computer animation rather than the hand-drawn original. Unfortunately, the cost of animation today pretty much spurs the necessity for the technique. The real test is the story lines. Lower animation quality is accepted when there is great story telling. But not even the best animation around can save a bad story.

Yes. Most interesting is that Scrooge McDuck is being voiced by David Tennant (Dr. Who), who is from Scotland. No doubt he'll go back to using his Scottish heritage accent. Other voices include Tony Anselmo as Donald, Beck Bennett as Launchpad, and Corey Burton as Ludwig von Drake.
