I've been doing a lot of streaming lately but mostly in a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing so that I have an escape plan if I decide I just want to do something else instead, but I just became aware that a friend of mine will be broadcasting a radio drama on Thursday night of "The Adventures of Rick Deckard" which is a performance he and a group of friends put on a few years ago at the Los Angeles sci-fi convention LosCon. The premise is to imagine the 1982 movie Blade Runner as if it were created in 1948 and performed live on the radio with famous actors of the period like Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Vincent Price, etc playing the roles instead of the actors we know from the movie. Creative sound foley is used throughout and the whole thing comes together in greatly entertaining fashion.
