Thank you, everyone! Stil alive, medical update. :)

Surgery went without a hitch and I got home around 4pm on June 20th.
Sorry if this is rambling. Still very much drugged up.
Apparently the anesthesia they used really knocked me for a loop as I wasn't even more awake then asleep until like 3pm, and they operated a 7:30 am. Almost had to stay over night due to lack of bladder function, but around 3, when I was truly waking it, so did the bladder and I could go home. Phew!
They wheeled me into OR, got me on the bed, I heard 'I'm giving you some meds now' and next thing I know I'm in recovery. No counting down, or anything. I was immediately out.
Didn't write before now because I could barely do anything yesterday. Slept more than anything, couldn't eat, and was getting dizzy on sitting up.
Really, there have been no complications. :) This is all very normal. I have some good codine, as I'm allergic to some other pain meds , so only in discomfort, not pain. If anything the annoying part is now that my bladder has woken up it's working over time. Only now, Wednesday morning, is it finally quieting down and I don't have to pee every hour. Made trying to sleep difficult, let me tell you!
Anyway, thanks for all the well wishes! <3 Recovery should go well.

Rest up and recover, I'm thrilled that this will (hopefully) put many of your medical problems behind you for good.
Only time will tell, but no acne alone would be amazing. And yeah, here I am at 48, still suffering acne. :P
Basically I had three growths. Thankfully all non cancerous. A fibrous growth, and a pollup in my uterus, and then a cyst no an ovary. So I got a hysterectomy, and and ovary removed. They were not only possible fatal in the long run, but have also been causing me trouble for years. THis kind of stuff comes with several side affects too.
...is that not what you meant by "without a hitch?" Sorry!
good to hear everythign went well. :) now, get well soon!° ^.^
I'll sure try! Husband is trying to spoil me rotten.
Sorry, I've been pretty sick the last few days. It's allergies, and not the surgery, but it's made me spend more time in bed than not. Surgery wise I'm healing fine. Off the big meds and progressing well on that front.
It's just hard to do much when you are dizzy and nauseous the whole day. (It always clears up at 7pm, so I'm literally allergic to day time lately. :P)
