1 week without smoking / Thanks for fun partyness last night
16 years ago
So today was the 1 week mark of my quitting smoking, and it's actually been a lot easier so far than I thought it would be. I do now and then have a slight urge to have a cig, but mostly it's fine, although I have been snacking more as a result.
Last night we had a fun party here at our place, my fox Ratchet,
ferloo,
deadmeat,
scarlettseraph,
rrruff,
dibbun, Snowy, Charles, and there bud whose name I forget =-_-=, all came over, and had lots of fun times, Rock Banding, watching The Mighty Boosh, and some AMV Hell, and all kinds of stuff really. Was a lot lot lot of fun. =^_^=

See ya at Megaplex anyway.
Everyone partied or wanted to do something.
I wanted to go over to Tier and Tiffany's house, to spend the night, but I had no ride back home. :/

Try walking or eventually, running; when the urge to light up is at hand. That helps two fold. Physical activity helped me, moving was the best thing for breaking the old habbits. (Not to mention all the pre-move work, cleaning the truck, packing, staging the move...)
I know how you feel. I let mine lapse because I can no longer afford the $150/month.
The physical need to replace it usually means a greater food intake. Smoking is almost as much an oral fixation as a chemical one, and
Smoking increases your metabolism, shuttling food thru quicker and not allowing the stuff that makes you gain the wrong kind of weight linger.
