a few months but then i've always choosen the top teir makers .
Lacy, Artslave both didn't take over 9 months but they did only partials for me
my doe full suit with partial option also was within 9 months but i got the partial pieces first (head,hand,tail)

also they did communicate every 3 months or so with some form of progress.... unless it was set to be started at X date, but still 3 months after that point

Interesting! Like i said as for me. I have a suit with furthewin studios. It took me about 5-6 months to pay my full digitigrade suit. Im still waiting. Its been about a year. Ppl before myself waited for 1 year and a half cor their fursuit. Its not a complaint or being rude to them. They do an amazing job! But...it take too much time.

not everyone is fast or dedicated time wise to doing just suits so the time you are waiting seems fair still, i only spoke on the suits i own, that said i watch a lot with 1 year wait times or 1.5 year :)
but most either are new, take on a lot or work other jobs or forms of art during the time ^^

well...it,s not supposed to take THAT amount of time if it's your full time job :T But you,re right! I think it will be beautiful if i wait...in the same time, i paid lots of money to get a fursuit...so that's why i was wondering. I had another one (since this week it has been sold because i'm not attached to the character anymore) and it took 3 months, to maximum 5 months to complete. I'ts the first time that i wait a lot on a fursuit. Also the fact that the maker i choose NEVER close their fursuit commissions (that i found it stupid, but that's my own opinion, poke me again if you wanna know about it), so that's a bit why it take a year to have a fullsuit. My boyfriend has a suit of the same maker as i ordered. I think its an awesome fursuit maker with amazing skills. Their suit are on top! 1 year guarantee and all! Awesome custommer services! (The maker is also a close friend of mine). But, the only thing i hate about them is the freaking waiting time. Depending on how you pay it can take up to 1.5 to 3 years!! x.x I paid mine really quick, and i'm not even completed, nor even begun x.x
