Have you ever thought about Skyping the ref sheet commissioner to kinda get it all in one shot if their either unsure or not entirely decided?
If it's just chatting back and forth while sending WIP screenshots, I can do that just as quickly over email and have a more solid record of the transaction should I need to look back and find the info again. ^^

Actually, there are a couple really helpful guides out there for stuff like this if you're interested! If you haven't seen them already, that is. :)

You don't need to actually give me hex codes for colors if you don't have extremely specific colors in mind [though it would be helpful to have a palette if you have one]. If you don't give me specific colors, I would need color descriptors like "dark chocolate," "milk chocolate," or "cinnamon" instead of "brown," for example.

Last time I did a ref from a text description, it was for a cat/fox hybrid. I needed to ask which features were from which animal and then I put it in a bullet pointed list. The list I made ended up on the reference actually if you want to see what I mean: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/23326073/
If you have a hybrid in mind, this is super helpful to me since there are so many ways to combine different species.

It just takes a lot of mental energy to sit down and figure out what it is I really want (because if I'm being honest, I don't know). It takes a lot of energy to do so because this is something that's like, super important to me for some reason. I've kinda been procrastinating it. Sorry!
