As for the wedgies, they actually never bothered me... in fact my cousins and I had a club(as far as 5-10 yo clubs go) where the initiation was to get a wedgie lol

I got clocked a couple times with Rock's! Then there's the time I thought a tree branch was a good sword.....against a machete. That turned out Unfavorable for me.....earned a couple stitches That day....
