Almost passed out at the store and had to call Rook to take me home.Drank a bottle of water before I went hope and felt way better.
I've been drinking water every now and then. I still can't get the 12 glasses a day.
I'm going to try to get in a better habit of drinking more water even though it's bland and tasteless ( don't suggest the flavor packets as they have extra chemicals and whatnot). I'll need to but some lemons or other tasty fruit to make the experience pleasant.
If I was at Anthrocon, the situation would have been way worse.
I'm home and feeling better, will be starting work very soon.
edit: SInce people did mention the 12 glasses of water a day is a myth, I remembered the Adams ruins everythig episode

You just need to stay hydrated. Like. a glass or two per day.
Humans have a good thirst alarm, unlike cats for example who have that sense faded out and most of them are in a permanent state of slight dehydration.
From all the info out there I'd say just drink when you get thirsty. Just pay attention to what your body is demanding, which can be overlooked if you're focused on a task, like being addicted to gaming.

^Not sure if thats different where you live but thats basically north America...
Remember, the human body can only go 3 days without water, so a couple of daily drinks is always good.

Also. Everyone saying you do not need to drink 12 or even 8 are right. Everyone has different bodies and you actually can over hydrate yourself. Even to a point to death, I drink usually 2-3 bottles of water a day.
I am trying my best to be helpful
Not sure if you're interested, but my fiancee and I tried out some of these recipes for flavored water one year. They were pretty good, but the citrus one was really... well... not so good. Citrus fruit rind has oils in it that just make the whole thing bitter, even after a good washing, so it just tasted like citrus cleaning products smell.
But yeah! Glad that I could share and maybe help you out a bit.
Hydrating is hard when water is so boring and we're all programmed for sweet beverages these days.
Best of luck!
try getting something like culligan water delivery (which i have); the water tastes tons better than municipal tap water (which most often is highly chlorinated), most water delivery services add minerals to the water for flavor, to keep the water from tasting so bland and make it more crisp
also i can definitely recommend a bit of lemon in water, it gives water a nice tart flavor (tho i'd suggest just using a small squirt of lemon juice to a large glass of water, as it's easier than cutting up a whole lemon)
So, I'm about 330 pounds. Over weight. So I would need more water right? Well, the area I work and the area I live both have a water issue, it's not Flint water but its still marked with a issue.
So I'm lucky if I get about one bottle of water pure in my body.
Most my stuff comes from Milk and any food I eat, which can be a bit.
So overall my advice is this, keep a source of water in a car where the sun can not directly hit. Even a 1 dollar gallon thing if it can be placed safe. Same for your very most common room. Drink from it when you feel thirsty.
Remember you can fuse water with tea's and basic juicy fruit or the odd Veggy. Good luck.
Edit: 12 glasses small are, okay. 12 glasses tall are a bit much. Fake number here but if you drank say....lets go insane and state 10 gallons. Likely more, you can HARM your body. At that point the person drinking that much water beyond the stomach pain they get can cause a very bad effect. Way too much water is bad. Too little is bad. But at lest 3 water bottles a day is a "Healthy" Balance. Since that would be for your three meals. Get it? This is very blunt. not over worry about the 8 glasses or what ever. Also overall your health and diet depends if you need these 12. Like some water issue or drying thing. Or what ever.
Also don't buy expensive bottled water. It's almost always just tap water; you're paying for the bottle, not the water. Which can be worth it if you buy cheap and for the convenience of a disposable water carrier.
Finally, if anybody tries to steer you clear of some food or drink purely on the basis of "It's got chemicals in it, it must be bad for you!" ...don't listen. Everything you eat and drink is made of chemicals.
If it's in the kitchen, and you have a little note like "Take one" around, you'll be inclined to grab one and start drinking.
It's also a great deterrent against the late night munchies.
Anyway, being more careful now and watching myself.
Thank you for saving me
