My stuff is free, and I will not stop. If someone asks me for something and I dont want to do it, I will not do it. Its that easy. who ever posted that memo does not understand the net, and the idea of having fun with art. There most likely just in it for the money, and that's not art that's graphic design. =^^=
You seem like the type of person who has fun with their art, that's why I watch you.

The idea that someone is telling people to stop doing free stuff, make's me grone.
It would be self defeating, how would anyone know if you was any good, and so no one would pay you to do art.
I have only ever ask one person for a picture, and that was a trade. They said no, and I moved on.
Think what would happen if no one did free art, or put their stuff out there.
This is starting to sound like I am moning, I am not. Everyone is entitled to live there life how thay like, But we must learn to understand that not everybody thinks the same, and so we cant control the world.

PS. I think your stuff is amazing, and I hope this has not upset you. It's not aimed at you or anybody, it's just a statement of my thoughts. Life is too short to mone.

its a good point but i think they were the type of artist that live off thier drawings (wish i was that good >.< but they told me i wasnt at the art institute) I used to do free commish, or commish in general, but i dont have time to anymore and when people beg me its hard not to get a bit mad after telling them no a hundreds times through mail. makes me feel like a jerk when i have that terrible want to rant till i'm past blue in the face.

It's one of them subjects you can be for and against at the same time.
It has a lot of levels to it.

Geeze, i had no idea people were getting this much haastle off cheap ass bastards!!!
I mean i like free art as much as the next person but only when people are willing to post it. When people start demanding free art as a commision or trade then thats where i draw the line.
