And unfortunately no, we can't make MP this year. Expenses got pretty high before our trip to AUS and we don't feel comfortable stretching them so thin while our funds are still recovering.

I think for at least some it just becomes the fact that you can't possibly keep up with that many people all the time. Sure, some it might just be because they're rude but I'd like to think it's a more benign reason.

For me it was just because I was pretty much in work mode all the time. I'm definitely trying to be more social and active in the community this time around!

I agree too to an extent. I always try to hold out the best of expectations for people and don't think that by nature they're nasty, but a lot of the time I notice certain things with some artists that make it seem like it might be a case of the latter. But anyway lol don't let me complain!
