No art work today...hopefully some tomorrow!
This morning when I got up I decided to take my brand spanken new bike out for a ride down to the beaches of toronto. Well, about 15 minutes into my bike ride, while crossing a street at a decent speed and going up onto the curb my bike FLIPPED ME up and over the handle bars onto the ground below.
After further inspection I found that one of the bolts/knutts holding the front fender was missing...so when I hit the bump, the fender bounced then landed on the wheel getting stuck, thus causing the wheel to stop. And what with the law of things in motion and whatnot, bike stopped, I did not.
I was super angry and upset because it was a BRAND NEW bike. 180$ bike to be exact. And, when I bought the bike ORIGONALLY, I had gotten to the elevator of Canadian Tire with it, and realized the fender was broken, brought it BACK to the manager and complained. They gave me ANOTHER bike (the one that flipped me) which they took me to get inspected by there 'experts'.
yet somehow there experts failed to miss the fact that the fender didnt ave a very important bolt! GAH. So when i went in to complain THIS time, bleedig shoulder and everything, I convinced the manager to give me ANOTHER new bike.
Happily they satisfied my need to NOT burn Canadian Tire down by taking my crappy broken bike and giving me a brand new mountain bike priced at 220$ at no additional cost.
All in all...new bike, better bike, I'm happy.
I'm bruised in SO many places, even places a lady should not be bruised, and my shoulder is all road rashed and bloody, but, still ok!
Too sore to do much of anything today, and exausted from such a CRAAZYYY morning.
So tomorrow, hopefully! Something!

Can't wait to see more art!
And looking forward to arts too!
here in germany, not long ago, BOSCH had a problem with injection pumps delivered to Mercedes and BMW. they demanded a triple checking throughout manufacturing, but neglected to actually pay for it (althout the retail price makes you wodner if that thing is cast in gold or something), so BOSCH made only two checks. and of course, many pumps failed. Mercedes and BMW popped a bvein over it until BOSCH publicised where the problems actually came from...
good to hear you're relatively unharmed. those accidents can prove exceedingly inconvenient.
sore all over and bruised where no lady should eb bruised? would it help to e-lick those spots? 8P
For the bruises, check at a health food store and get some Arnica Montana. It is flat out the best treatment for bruises I've ever found. For sore muscles, get some Extra Strength (red) Tiger Balm. You'll need help with that for the more awkward places. When using Tiger Balm, always wash your hands thoroughly afterward. You do NOT want to get that stuff in your eyes, mouth or other openings. Believe me, I found out the hard way.
You can find Tiger Balm at the health food store, or most drug stores (I find it at Walgreen's).
