My Thoughts On... My Art

Hello all!
I'm going to take a step back and give an honest critique of my art. We as artists are our own best friend and worst enemy, but we are also our most honest judge.
Here it goes...
On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being horrible and 10 being great, I'd put my art at a 5. Why? Because while I do see myself as improving, I also see other artists I favorite or watch whose art is light years ahead of mine. I also realize that art isn't easy for me. I have trouble coming up with ideas, struggle with anatomy, and usually end up with an art piece that while nice I'm not 100% pleased with. Add to this the fact that I kind of goofed up learning to draw by trying to draw an entire image instead of starting with the basics.
Right now I'm trying to correct that misstep and hopefully one day be pleased with my art. Until then, I just keep improving.
