I guess this is Indie Movie Week.
Moon
smart and well written. low on the effects, but not hurt for it. As long as you can get over walking around on a moonbase like it's on earth and getting floaty only outside, it's worth a see.
The Hurt Locker
Great suspenseful flick about an EOD technician in Iraq in 2004. It hits hard and doesn't let up, even if there's a bit too much emphasis on the bomb suit. Would not be nearly as good without Jeremy Renner's award-worthy performance.
