I've been hearing things about the site for a while and I was wondering if it was a good platform to start taking commissions on? From the looks of it, it seems a lot simpler to navigate and i feel like the commission process could go thru a lot more efficiently too. And alternatives to Paypal are nice since I know Paypal can be pretty unreliable sometimes.
I'm planning on opening a few slots soon so I figure this could be a nice testing ground.
I know they haven't linked paypal with it yet, so not sure how the payment system works on it.
Have you used the site before or have you bought commissions from anyone who uses the site? How was your experience and would you recommend it? Or should i just stick with my usual email/paypal invoice routine?

It uses Stripe as the payment processor instead of PayPal, though I think PayPal integration is a work in progress.
Ah okay, Stripe kinda has the same transaction fee as paypal right? Thats what i heard at least
But seriously having a good way to manage commissions is way helpful for both artists and commissioners, I wish I'd had this years ago, then I wouldn't have lost track of commissions and never gotten art several times.
the mods are super helpful and care about both artist and client (something paypal needs to work on) The use of stripe lets artists take NSFW commissions without the fear of having their account closed (and when paypal is implemented SFW commissions can be bought using that and only stripe will be used for NSFW) from what i've heard. xD
i'm really excited to have people moving over to commiss.io tbh.
paypal implementation is one of the things keeping a few of my commissioners away from the sounds of things though.
Yeah i noticed that my slots went a bit slower this round, which i think the reason why is what you stated. That and probably cause this site is pretty new and not that many ppl are familiar with it. So i think i might go back to using it once they integrate Paypal into it.
