I Got Into 3 RPs at Once (NOT CLICKBAIT) (STORY TIME)

I’ll admit it: I’ve hit a brick wall with writing Clarke and Claire. Out of around 150 separate passages, I still have 114 to go. I don’t think it’s writer’s block, though, as I’m still writing LOADS of stuff. It just so happens that that stuff is not my character.
So to soften the blow of my procrastination, I’ll tell you guys a recent event that I was in. It’s called, “The Story Of How Yoshielder Got Into Three Different RPs At Once” (title wip.)
First, a little background. It’s kinda hard to believe how relatively new I am to writing transformative fiction. It feels to me like forever, but I only started in February, when I was writing dog porn instead of watching the Oscars. As such, I didn’t RP. Nothing against it, really. It just wasn’t really my thing. I always thought that it was fantasy-fulfillment, and that’s not really the reason why I write tf. Let’s be blunt, I write to get people off. Maybe I’ll enjoy it too, but the thought of what I’d do in these situations is pretty far from my mind when I write about cows jilling off (what has my life become…)
That said, I did say that I “didn’t RP”, not “don’t RP”, didn’t I? Yes, a couple of days ago, a very patient player on Transformania Time (the multiplayer one, not the one that I’m known for not writing characters) led me through my first RP experience. It was pretty basic: I was told to start it, since I was assuming that I would be the one in charge of the changes (which apparently makes me dom? I dunno).
Now, you know my writing style. When I get into a topic, I write novels. And this RP, well… let’s just say I was cursing the 1000 character limit a lot. I don’t know anything about RPs, but I assume they’re pretty short, as my partner asked if I was fucking with them.
So fast forward to last night. I’m stuck in bed, doing my best to not write anything for my characters, when the original RPer- let’s call them Cat girl- shows up. We continue for a bit, before another player we’ll call Bunny, wants to RP. They didn’t mind that I’d be a bit slow, what with another completely different RP going on, so I accepted. So now I have two RPs- one with Catgirl, and one with Rabbit.
It was maybe a few minutes after the RP with Catgirl ended that Board Game wanted to RP. Since I’d just gotten through one RP, I accepted their request. But then another one showed up.
To recap, I’m now in three different RPs. One with man being turned into a bunny maid, one with a board game dictating the changes, and the third one, a mouse tf. And I still made my responses a book.
I was scrambling to answer all of the RPs. Every time I’d answer one, another one would take its place. It was a hydra of roleplaying; every head I answered, two more heads *sprouts up, looking at you with rage*.
And you know what? It was really fun. Exhausting, but fun.
The bunny RP ended with the promise to add to it tomorrow, the board game went on without a reply, and the mouse ended with a completed tf. Considering that I hit the limit with each RP, I must have wrote over 20000 characters in one night.
So what did I learn? For one, maybe don’t accept every RP you get requested for, at least not until you have space free. Also, that I could get used to this “RPing” thing. It reminds me a lot of improv, as you have to think on the fly in conjunction to your partner. It has a lot of improv ‘rules’, too, like how your partner can make or break an RP, and to never outright contradict a chain of events, go with whatever your partner is referencing.
I guess that means I’m up for RPs here, too. You can probably tell what I’m into from my characters: tf, mc, anthro, mtf, that kinda thing, though it takes a lot to scare me off. If you want to try it, and have a scenario in mind (again, not good at coming up with ideas) and don’t mind an amateur partner, then hit me up either here or on TT; my name is Beatryka Mane!
My question: Are there any RP “tips of the trade”? Things that I should know about first hand?

Biggest tip I can suggest, and this will sound harsh, is know your value. There will be people in the TF community especially, but it also happens with all kinds of RPers, that basically are all take and no give. You already seem to be noticing that with 'maybe don't accept every RP you get requested for'.
Communication is also pretty big. Hash things out with your partner. You don't need to know what's going to happen before it does, but if there are some things you're just not interested in, than it pays to know.
I can honestly bandy on about this for a long time. But if you'd like, I have a few examples of stuff I've run for people over in my scraps section just for things like this. And if you'd like to just chat, send me a note.
Today I get about 2-3. Depends when I hop on.
I'm flat out honest with people if I hit my limit of RPers. I tell them "Sorry but I can't right now.", you'd be surprised how understanding people can be.
F-List is generally faster paced compared to TT (And I like how much more open I can be in F-List) though, so I can take more RPs.
I also don't spend as much time going into detail in RPs than I do VS Stories. I know my RP partner has a limited time, I know I have a limited time. That's not to say I don't use ANY detail, detail is important, but so is response time. Kind of a fine line I guess.
...and as Rhodes says, communication is good to know what to expect, but more often than not, my RP partner will want me doing things unexpected. I get this from generally knowing their kinks and going from there,
IE: An RP where changing them and giving them a bigger rear. I notice they like facesitting. Wasn't mentioned in the RP or before starting, I just noticed it in their general kinks. I push them down and just wiggle my rear on them while their own rear grows...hell make mine grow with it.
