so what are Emotions?

if you made a machine and program it to act in certain way..do you really create something with Emotions or just an emotionless object that could be an Hollywood actor ?
what would it be to be unemotional self awareness? doing thing because you are design tto do them but not because you got an opinion on them
what about the things that make you happy? why do thy make you happy ?
do they make you happy cause they bring a different emotion , can you get at the core of why that other emotion makes you feel like you do?
if I mess with your memories and change that activity for another things..would that activity make you happy? or will something be missing cause your relationship with that activity is more complex than a simple believing that makes you happy
does the activity has a symbiotic relationship with you?
give it a thought and through me a comment

The way I see it: all of our emotions and decisions are based on chemical reactions in the brain. What's the difference between a chemical reaction and 1's and 0's? Both are predictable, both can be controlled just as easily.
Just pointing out that there's a difference.
