New one actually tracks you for a stable 3D experience.

And I wonder how that really works to.

Modern video cameras have been placing facial recognition highlights in the monitor, helping them to stay focused on what is expected to be the focus of attention. I suspect the same thing is going on here, via that tiny camera dot that is always looking at you. It recognizes the player's face, judges from where in the field it is present at and adjusts the hyper screen trick to keep it from becoming all blurry. The ultimate test of this feature would be with that Star Fox game when it has both 3-D mode AND that tilt control on.

Of course, the illuminati question to ponder is: Ever notice how all these devices started getting cameras around the same time they all started getting wireless options? I know that some arcades started putting in goofy face cam's as a gimmick for multi-player sessions. But, why on Earth must the 3DS be doing this? It's not like I've ever run across a Skype app for the Dual Screen, either. So...why does Big Brother need to know every detail of everyone's face? Volunteer mug shot tracking???

All I can say is, hope my eyes can try to see it.

How true. That 3D seems like it might have issues with some people's eyes.

At first it hurt then now it don't seem to work. This was before I got my very own.

Hardly matters. Most people tend to just turn off the 3D feature after it rather quickly grows old. After all, Nintendo just announced the coming release of the XL model of the 2DS...which appears to be a hinged clam shell design. (Unlike the tablet-like former 2DS.)

I just leave mine off it has no point. And they must really love the 2ds so much has funny how parents just can't on I don't know turn off the 3d..

Truthfully, I'm not really that sure how many games have actually benefited from the use of the 3D feature. Sure. It looks nice when it's really utilized. But, has it ever proved vital to the experience? Can't say for sure about that. Now, one game that was downloadable named Outrun was really amazing to see in 3D. Being a driver, it made the main road sink in like a mile's worth, way into the distance. A breathtaking thing to see.

There is a really nice feature to the 3D, however. It's the ability to take 3D photos. When the picture has items in the foreground and background, it just blows away any old photo. I took one of a sandcastle at a ren faire shortly after getting the game system and it just pops.

I know, I even looked on youtube telling me. But I already format it so there's no going back. I thought if I did it with out the SD card I can keep my games but..nope can't fool it. Only one app I care was Color 3D and of course both swapnotes.,old and new. But I happily take your readding me offer once I upgrade into NEW. =3

I also seen that on a video late at night, and the user was able to get his games back when he sign in. But than, you for checking for me it's sad I it said no friends on there. And what is said when I first got my 3ds I had mostly facebook friends on there then fa well..most of them I won't get able to get back it's understandable. Start fresh and see what happens rawr. *hugs*

I gotta get a New 3DS and transfer my data, since my old one can't charge due to it being damaged.
