Alternate payment means for commissions?

This is something I've been toying around with in my head for a while and mentioned to some others, and they said it could be a good idea so I thought I'd ask more publicly.
Basically I can't use PayPal because it's been having issues with verifying my identity, so I've been looking into possible other ways to take commissions, and what I've come up with is taking commissions for Amazon or other site giftcards. However, I do recognize a few issues with this
1. Possible inability to give refunds
2. Difficulty taking commissions from non-US customers
3. Somewhat of an increased risk for being scammed.
So I'm curious what other peoples' thoughts on this are, if they know of a way I could work around this issue or of other possible means of taking money for commissions? Thanks in advance!
