Story Commissions Journal
In light of recent events, which I'm sure most of you are aware of by now, I’ve decided to officially open up story commissions on a regular basis in order to help supplement my income during this difficult time for me in trying to get back on my feet. There is no limit to how many slots there are and I’ll take on as many per day as I can. The following story types are available. Word counts are approximate, though they'll usually be a little longer anyway:
For the most efficient process of acquiring a story commission, please visit the following link and fill out the form: https://goo.gl/forms/B2UNQwaG1FYkgD9H3
************************************************************************************************************
1000 words ($12) - Micro stories that typically feature a slice of life scenario with no specific beginning or end. Limited dialogue.
2000 words ($20) - Short stories. Features a standard amount of dialogue and description. Perfect for one-shot stories
3000 words ($30) - Moderate length stories with a more definable beginning, middle, and end to it. Ideal for inclusion in multi-chapter stories.
1000 word increments after 3000 ($10) - So basically, add $10 for every additional 1000 words beyond 3000.
Multichapter stories vary in price, depending on number of chapters and length of each chapter. Price is negotiable.
These are the base prices, but they will increase depending on complexity (ie: four or more featured characters, world building, intricate plotline, etc)
Stories are done in Google Docs, with the option to spectate over the story-making process every step of the way, kinda like how an artist streams their work. You'll be able to suggest any changes you feel are necessary. I'll also make a couple distinct edits or so to the story. But please understand that stories are time consuming, if not more so than drawing, to make well. There's more factors to consider and changes in certain scenes can potentially alter the rest of the story.
Also, I’m not a mind reader. I can only work with the plot details provided to me while using my own creativity to fill in the blanks. I strive to make your story as satisfying and accurate as possible. However, like art, it may not turn out perfect. That’s where you come in.
You’ll be able to make suggestive edits on small bits of the story like certain dialogue or actions. I only ask that you give me a paragraph or two breathing room and not edit right over me as I type.
You're welcome to include any of my characters in your stories as well, if you like.
[b]Payment is accepted through Paypal and is required up front before I begin work on your commission. Please send me a note with the following: Your choice of story type (1000, 2000, or 3000 words), the plot of the story and the characters involved.
I will need your Paypal email address, to which I will send you an invoice once the story is accepted.
