I know this is going to sound, uh, odd coming from me... but I don't know what the Facebook admins do sometime. Fur Affinity had a group of 50K+ users, and *ONE PERSON* trolled the group -- one! -- so they shut down the entire group, and flagged my account that if somebody ever trolled me again, I'd be perma-banned.

I just kind of sat there like "What the hell just happened?"

And yet you're the site's director?? How would someone have the gall to say that??

Facebook doesn't give you any way to protest. At all. There's no admins you can speak to, no support line you can call, no chat you can use, no email you can mail. It only gives you a prompt saying "Action was taken against your account because XYZ and you have no choice but to comply. Failure to comply will result in your entire Facebook account being shutdown."

And y'know, to this day, I still don't know the reason it closed. All I know is I woke up to massive reports from users that ONE GUY was spamming it with gore images. Just one guy. And then it was closed.

Ouch! That is really horrible, somebody cruelly massive spam gore arts....it must seriously affect all of the furries in that group. Must be kind of hater or troubled person that is trying so hard to destroy furry

I don't think they despise furries as much as, like any administration, sometimes decisions aren't made rationally. Do 1,000 things right, sometimes that 1,001st doesn't work right. I know Facebook is notorious for shutting down Facebook accounts hat don't use real names, so that may be it. Not sure.

Sorry to hear that. I really don't know what the is wrong with Facebook and Furries. But I think a lot of furs who have Facebook tend to get targeted. That's why I tend not to post a lot of furry stuff on it.
