Hmmm.... probably German! ^^ My family is mostly German so they use to primarily speak it a few generations back, though I think even my great grandmother now speaks mostly English. There is also a lot of good scientific literature in German, so it's handy if I ever want to read the source of a lot of cool theories. :3

Yep! Sadly, I don't know that much German anymore despite studying it for about 4 years in high school. xD I have looked at some German papers that have popped up in college; however, I have never got past the abstract. German science suffers from an extreme version of the rest of the language: very long compound words. xD The papers are really hard to read without knowing the language better or the various parts of each word.

Considering that German is your heritage, are there any runner ups or second choices?

The other big parts of my heritage are English, Austrian, and french Canadian, so I suppose French. :P Although, I'm not too certain. Latin has always interested me, but I haven't thought much about seriously studying it since middle school.

Kinda yeah :] it's real fun .. you only need to commit like 5, 10 minutes a day and you will pick up a lot. They did the chineasy cards too
