now, for once, what the bloody hell these morons think they can get on the internet with that? the internet itself is PROPERTY of the U.S. gov, just as it was CREATED by the US gov a long time ago, thus it can't be fully owned by these morons, nor fully controlled by them whatsoever. Hell, i much prefer to know what i do on the internet rather than have some old ass pedophile telling me what's good or not

well i just like to spend some time in history articles and go by what i know so far, being the Internet was originally a weapon of intelligence, created in the 60s, in the cold war to determine enemy positions and so on. that's as far as i know atm

Wikipedia is far more reliable a source than people give it credit for. If nothing else it's a good broad overview sort of source.

ya sure? just making sure of it cause my teachers at college say to avoid wikipedia for research and so on (and also given news how some actually plagiarize the information on it)

No I wouldn't suggest using it for College research, but it is still a fantastic resource and widely reliable. The cases of people vandalising articles are few and far between however.

The fact that people haven't heard about this is worrying, not your fault though. It just goes to show they want to get this through as quick and quiet as possible. Look into it and spread the word. We must defend Net Neutrality!
