The Mountain Pack is one giant nuclear family, the core pack being run by the parents and the surrounding packs run by their dispersal children and their mates. The general territory has a very wide range, but stops at the river (as seen in page 1), and sees more cold snaps than the southern city.

The City Group is a giant mess. It's the only group that consists of wolves, dogs and other canid species. They make the abandoned city their home and have a different way of living than the wild wolves of the mountain. Some view them as barbarians, some view them as savage anarchists. It depends on first impressions.
Blade [Leader] -wolf-
Sunny -wolf-
Squall [second-in-command] (deceased) -mutt dog-
-
Trace [Lead Hunter] -dog-
[*]miscellaneous Hunters
Food suppliers, from trackers to herders and attackers, hunting is vital to bring food back for the enormous population of the city's group. They hunt, scavenge and in rare cases, steal food if the need arises.
-
Fleet [Lead Scout] -coyote-
[*]miscellaneous Scouts
Sharp eyes, quick feet and super noisy, the scouts are almost always by the outskirts of the city, keeping an eye out for potential recruits and incoming threats.
-
Bear [Lead Guard] -wolfdog-
[*]miscellaneous Guards
Basic security. These guys break up internal skirmishes and drive away hostile intruders, and sometimes accompany certain members outside the city's borders for safety. They cooperate with scouts to keep the peace.
-
Sweet [Lead Nanny] -dog-
[*]miscellaneous Nannies
This group focuses on the safety and education of pups, assisting mothers (both first-time and experts) and taking in orphans, both outside and within the pack. Any pup under a year old is under the care of this group by default.
-
xx [Lead Messenger] -??-
[*]miscellaneous Messengers
Within a large city, messengers are vital. Experts at translating calls, great memory and quick feet. At one point they used to travel to outside packs that the group were on good terms with, but that was discontinued with the rising threat of fiends.
-
xx [Lead Spy] -??-
[*]miscellaneous Spies
This faction excels at sneaking into occupied territory, hiding from the residents and gathering much needed information to pass back to the city's main council. They're experts at blending in, hiding from sight and smell, and you'd never know util they had their teeth around your throat.
Hazel [Lead Healer] -dog-
[*]miscellaneous Healers
A new rank just recently incorporated, trained experts in medical know-how involving herbs and plants, where to find them, and even some who know how to help with mental/emotional trauma.
-
-known rankless-
Thorn -wolf-
Thyme -wolf-
various rank-less members (dogs/wolves/coyotes/mixes)
