There's a game I've been playing recently called Dreadnought that's currently in open beta but will remain free-to-play once it's fully released. I run it on PC and have been having a lot of fun but I'm curious to learn if there's anyone else here who has given it a shot. I'd like to try playing with teammates rather than random pick-up-games.

For a quick summary of what the game is, think of the climax to the movie Star Trek 2 where you had two giant starships maneuvering through an environment not unlike submarine warfare in an attempt to get the drop on each other. Shots were fired and damage scored until the killing blow is made. Dreadnought plays out just like that only with a team of 8 ships versus another team of 8 and each player can select a ship from several different classes that determines your relative firepower, agility, and defense. Games are pretty quick lasting 10 minutes or so and it doesn't take too long to get up to speed on the mechanics.
