So discovered who the person was by pure accident from coming across a shout.
According to the shout they claim to have sent notes several days ago
Spoiler alert: no notes were received.
This is either because their lying out their ass, or(most likely) Furafinity isn't(still) letting me receive all the notes I''m supposed to(getting real tired of this shit FA, I've had three notes go missing last week). They didn't even bother to leave a damn shout at least ASKING if I got the notes. I'm aware its not the 'job' of the commissioner to do this, but it still would've be nice ._.
His dumbass red-wolf-iconed friend isn't helping anything by enjoying the fact I lost $50 and missed a damn payment.
He's under the impression I'm saying its entirely not my fault, when I'm not saying that. Yes its my fault for forgetting, but I did have that shit written DOWN. Contrary to red-wolf-icon claims. I even had it fucking lined man, so there goes the hours spent linearting. I guess I can just add BGS and edit the lines to resell.
Either way I refunded his cash and blocked him and his fuck friend. I ain't gonna deal with this shit, and I certainly ain't going to be getting that $50 back or the fact I missed a payment, meaning its going to charge me more. I didn't forget his commissions(seeing as they were lined to be colored) I just have a bad habit of shunting around commissions to finish smaller ones first to save time. I'm a shit manager and can never figure out how to manage my time in a orderly fashion. I've tried before but I ended up being less efficient than I was before trying to manage. It's either I sporadically go back and forth from lining commissions while coloring lined ones, or just line all existing commissions to color at once. Granted I'll upload more at once, but commissions will come out less.(That and I find doing this makes each commission look flat and the same, rather than dedicating me entire time to just one and all its details)

I'm sorry I'm a forgetful shit, I honestly can't help it. Call it insomnia from my poor sleeping habits, or something else, but I've been forgetful as shit for as long as I can remember. I seriously cannot help it how forgetful I am. No matter how hard I try I forget shit sometimes. Everyone does. So kindly leave me a shout or something at least(shout preferred, notes aren't working like shit for me lately and I cannot figure out if I'm the only one not receiving things, receiving blank notes, or them going missing. If anyone else is having this please let me know, I feel like the only one honestly)) before fucking my money and bills up the ass boku-no-piku style.
I'm sorry for the wait on everything, I'm trying to get my shit together. I'm not trying to make 'woe is me I have insomnia and don't sleep' stories, but people make mistakes. We're frigging people.

Just ran into trouble today with PayPal that is leaving me -$100 in my account which was 100% not my fault.
I wish PayPal was more reliable
And I wish on you to part that people would grow the heck up and stop thinking that art is something they need.
As far as I'm conserned art is a privilege not a necessity and it wouldn't kill people to be a little more respectful when it comes to understanding that people forget about things. Like you said we're frigggin people.
Ive waited years for artwork. And I'm sure this person wasn't waiting more than a few months.. even then like you said, it was in the process of being made..

I think it was two months, but I guess that is kinda a long while to wait. I don't commission people
like ever that I can remember, so I have no idea if I'd be pushy or ask for updates. I did wait three years for a adopt from a user, but to be fair she had like college, moved, took several vacations. Was worth the wait though. I wish I was faster though, I know it annoys people. I don't mean to be so slow <_>

-Have commission info sent by email or through a submission form.
-Using places like Trello or GoogleDocs and such for organization and progress updates. Plus it helps with transparency.
-Create a folder for your commissions. Within it, put the name of the commissioner (with a text doc if there's multiple projects). There you can put their refs as well as the YCHs they bought so you know what to work on.
Unfortunately, motivation wise there isn't much advice I can give other than try and pump yourself up to get the energy you need. In my case I find music does a great job of that and helps me focus and get in the zone. You'll find your niche.

I've honestly given up trying to feel motivated(this goes with my own art TBH lately, not just commissions). I just gotta do it, otherwise I'll be here forever trying to feel interested/motivated.

As for forms, it actually more of a spreadsheet thing, like in GoogleDocs and stuff. Entries and such. Can utilize such to have forms created and submitted there!

Well, hopefully you eventually manage to catch a breather. Always sucks when it becomes more of a job than a joy.
If not, some reminder shouts from people shouldn't hurt. As I'm sure you know, I'm still waiting on three commissions from you. The "Love Me Like You Do" one which I'm still waiting on the color palette for the male wolf, the Cuddles one, and the Cute Wolf Couple one.

As for how you should line and color, maybe work on a month to month block. So take the commissions from one month, like them all, color them and release them. If you lose motivation to color after lining move onto the next month, then once you get motivation back to back to the first month.
I'm also waiting on a few commissions, but I'm not gonna freak about them cause I know you'll pull through with amazing work :)

I've been trying to do something like that but I end up going in circles trying to figure out which to do first. But then again I'm blood awful at keeping time and dates. Probably due to a stagnant life lived almost entirely at home where everyday is pretty much the same day lmfao
