Why? What do you gain by punishing your watchers and future watchers like this?

I'm not punishing anyone. I just don't see my -old- work as even remotely appealing. o.O Some of this stuff's been on here for years. My main gallery is not going to be changed. I've had other people tell me that more than 300 submissions (many primarily of the same three characters) is a waste of space and my gallery and scraps section needed to be refined. I didn't think anyone would actually have a problem with it. o.o

Why *wouldn't* people have a problem with seeing art they like taken down? Haven't you ever been frustrated by those gray X in your favs? Or heard about this great pic, only to find out the artist thought it was 'too old to be worth it' -- and then found it and loved it out of the kindness of others?

The people who say art should be removed because 'it's too old' or 'there's too much' or just 'it wasn't popular enough' are those that take joy in tormenting and withholding things from others. They are mean people with no interest in the past or those who will come later or anyone but their power to say 'I have it and you don't'.
