Same deal here actually, nowadays I need mindwipe-type stuff to occur in certain ways sometimes to really get into it

I find alot of it depends on who the victim is and if they're blank-slate ish enough to not care about what goes on with them really

I dunno I associate mind wipe with murder most of the time. I fail to see the appeal of tf if it's to loose a personality over it and have the "fun" of dealing with it afterward

Yea thats what started happening with me, so I usually try to keep them somewhat aware or conscious while in there. Like they're still in there but just so heavily under the influence of the magic or different personality that their reasoning is so impaired at that point that they've begun to go with it rather than against it and fully become one with it to a degree.

I also usually think of most TF related stuff like an episode of a cartoon or something where it all seems grim and lost that our heroes have all been turned into whatever but at the end of the episode things'll likely be mostly resolved

SO PRACTICALLY - they get so changed/hypno'd so much their minds just get so hazy they can't help but take on some new personality and either enjoy it or are confused into believing thats what they are, their minds are in a kind of infinite haze though so unless its broken or something they'd continue playing along in that state as they cant put together thoughts to get out of it very well.

Your tastes are developing. It's not a problem. Yes, obviously finding something new that you like is a lot more fun than coming across something that repulses you, but they're both useful learning experiences. Take what you can from these events, learn more of what you like and keep exploring! There is always more to discover.

I've had the same issue. Compounding my chronic pain and anxiety disorder is a sense of "I kinda feel bad writing about unpleasent events happening to these characters" that I've developed over the past few years that's basically the same reservations you've got.

I just remember its all fantasy - I've had to deal with bullshit outside of that, but I don't let it effect my fantasy tastes...though admittedly there have been times where I've nearly left the hypnosis fandom entirely.

Hey. Happens to me on certain subjects as well. It's get me all squirmy and horrified and sad, even though it would also arouses me. For me,most of the time not the tf or mind wipe itself, but the story associated with them. I usually avoids them when i noticed the signs that it might go that way.
