If how IDW handles Transformers or Ninja Turtles is any indication, they'll likely have a comic line based on Sonic Boom and another comic line that's all new, but takes inspiration from all across the different Sonic continuities. They'll likely attempt to bring over every Archie character that they legally can, given time.

Ah, that's good news! I only learned about the Archie cancellation a few days ago, so I'm glad to hear the book got picked up again by another company. And hopefully it's not going to be a total reboot, since some of the new characters were actually pretty cool imo. I'm...cautiously optimistic :')
