Need advice on a pen display

Lately I'm experiencing more and more issues with my cintiq companion 1, so I came to the conclusion that it's time to put it on "sleep mode" for good. It's probably going to stay as a tool for when I'm travelling, but that's another story.
So, I checked for a bigger and passive screen (the ones that you plug on the computer) and Wacom's are definitely out of my budget.
Searching far and wide I found this "copycat" that seem to have brilliant reviews: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=14481
My questions are: does anybody have experience with this tablet? Does it look good? Why on Earth is so cheap compared to Wacom? Am I going to become crazy with Harmony or it's going to work fine? (<---not that Harmony ever worked fine with any device)
Thank you to anybody who take the time to read/reply to this mess of a journal!
