Tablets on its way out.. Oh boy

OOoooohh goody my drawing tablet is nearing the end of it's life. I don't know if its the cable itself (which is detachable so I can just replace it) or the actual port of the tablet, but it started doing that thing where you have to hold it in a certain position for it to work, now it's barely working at all.
I'm gonna see if it fixes itself once I replace the cable, but if not I might have to open donations to get a new one, they're usually about £50? I'll have to wait and see if the cable is the problem though. Fingers crossed it can be fixed. I hate being without a tablet :(
