Level Up, Moving on 24 (B-Day Journal)

General
23rd year drawing to a close, moving on to number 24. Has been quite an eventful year that's for sure with many significant events, changes and firsts.
I'd have to say that some of the biggest would be the adoption of a completely new mindset in regards to life and how to go about moving through it. Going from being a watcher within the furry community to becoming somewhat of an active member which has given me the wonderful opportunity to get to know so many awesome furs and friends. Began flying lessons (start to realizing my dreams). Extended my enlistment in the Air Force for 6 more years, and making good progress as I'm almost finished with tower watch supervisor training. Those just to name a few.
But of course I can't help but look back and dwell on a range of things that I wish I could go back and change or do better. What sticks out to me the most is that in many ways I feel that I have fallen way short of the bar in being helpful to others and making a positive impact in society. Also wanted to be somewhat further along in flight training than I am as well. And of course there are others too. But no need to get bogged down in the mud over what could've been. What's already happened has happened and life goes on. All you really can do is put forth your best effort to achieving your goals, and learn from mistakes.
I don't really expect as many changes to occur in this upcoming year, rather to build off of a stronger foundation and making use of the cards I've been dealt. But who really knows what will happen.
And of course I couldn't conclude without saying that it's been an absolute pleasure getting to know you all these past 6-7 months. So many awesome fellow furs that I very much enjoy interacting with and hope you'll stick around in the year to come. Plenty of adventures around the corner.
What grand adventures do I plan to embark on for my birthday? Not a gosh darn thing...
