Equilibrium is similar and pretty good too! Some moments are cheasy, but if you can get over that it's good!
Rogue One, despite my dislike of how Disney has handled Star Wars, was actually the most well directed Star Wars film that I've seen.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit was my first furry adventure as a kid and to this day I love the hell out of it xD it got a PG rating back then but it is NOT a Kids movie lmao.
Mr. Deeds is probably the last good Adam Sandler comedy haha

Make sure you have plenty of tissues hand.
Starship Troopers is a good one. Campy but fun. And check out Pitch Black, Chronicles of Riddick, and Riddick.
The insidious movies were great, I was gonna recommend those too and forgot. Check out the Sinister pair if you haven't seen those yet.
Me my self I'm more into action adventure /comedies if anyhting.
