im working on things and im just frustrated
i want to do MORE with my art like... backgrounds and different poses
but i feel like maybe people wont like that? i want to do different angles but i worry the commissioner would want to see a full view of their character so i dont
does that make sense?
because i know when i commission art i really like seeing the full version of my character in that artist's style. but i do also like fun poses and ideas
i dont know... im not saying i'm bored but i'd like to do more. but i also like making people happy with my art

Other than that you could just try sketching out some poses or backgrounds to show the kinds of things you're capable of when people want to commission you.
If you're doing something for a patron, you can always ask if they would be okay with you trying something different.
