I've been considering making separate accounts as well. Then I remember how lazy I am and how much of a pain in the butt it'd be to keep up with two accounts.

I guess if you wanna keep things all organized and neat while catering to both sides (SFW/NSFW), then it'd be a good idea. Other than that, I'unno. Personally, I'd be okay with whatever you do. :>

Thanks for your feedback but yeah same about being lazy lolol I'm not sure but I may try a second account to see how it goes and if not then I'll slap it all on here. I don't even know how well my NSFW pieces will even go but it was just something different I thought about offering.

I think having them together in one gallery ain't too bad.
I asked not to long ago if my watchers thought a separate gallery for nsfw art was a good idea, it was mostly mixed response but the general feel was that people don't mind it all being together in one gallery.

I think having a separate one can create a kind of... spice about it? Like, am exclusive feeling? But like vxpyx said, I could not be bothered with 2 accounts, I can barely manage having a dA and FA.

I suppose it's up to your personal preference.

Thanks for your input! I'm not sure why but I had this preconception that people weren't too fond of having the pair of them mixed (keeping in mind that the SFW filter is an option, lmao) So I guess that's good to hear from your experience with your own audience.

I might try it for a little to see how it goes (a second account), though I'm not even certain at this point that my NSFW will go very well but who knows. I'm lazy but multiple accounts don't bother me as much, depends how.. uh, whats the word?? active? heavily trafficked? they are. I don't do well with many messages spread across different sites/accounts

I always found it annoying to need to look through two galleries for examples of work, but it is up to you.
Of course, those who only wish to view SFW in your gallery could always just hit the "SFW" button on the top of the screen.

Wouldn't that make it easier than just browsing though a bunch of arts in one gallery to find where the NSFW stuff was? SFW sometimes takes up a lot and the naughty stuff gets buried deep amongst them.
Also, does that stop you from watching artists like that completely or do you still watch both accounts (knowing its a bit tedious having to track two different places)?? btw thank you for your response, it's nice to have mixed opinions on it ^^

It doesn't stop me from watching, not at all, I just rather click next on a single tab than have to click next on two tabs.
Basically, I'm lazy, and prefer it all in one spot.
Plus FA has the folder feature so you could put all your NSFW in a folder. Same gallery, but a single click away from viewing only NSFW work.

as long as you remember to mark it as mature or explicit instead of general you should be fine. i made a separate account for my smut but it's a pain to manage two accounts and a lot of the time people just don't read and only watch one account when they would actually like to watch both. is annoying.

I would be interested if you did NSFW commissions for starters.

And to answer the question; I keep mine all on the same account to make it easier for myself. I already manage another account for something else but having that running alongside my main one can be a pain at times. Like some of the others said, just mark it under the right ratings and such and maybe make a folder to keep it all gathered in.
