i'm from ohio and it must've been some sort of mechanical problem regardless all rides passed inspection that today. there was a video a guy recorded which showed people on the ride were telling the operators to slow it down, then people were seen flying off. The person killed was in my school district and was about to go into senior year and join the us army, it was very horrible...I saw it on the news and I wasn't at the fair when it happened...

Yeah, people said he was a determined and fun-loving guy. Had a girlfriend too who was on the ride at the same time, and by now I don't know how she's taking the news. Sad to see how good people die too soon...

And from what I've heard, the ride was, by assumption, poorly inspected. It rained one day and no one wanted to go out on a rainy day. In my opinion, keeping yourself dry is less important than making sure the ENTIRE park was safe.

he just wanted to have a fun day at the fair...I cant imagine what she and her family are going through...God help them...

inspections and the inevitable things are why I don't trust rides and never will ride them...
