despite a few small hangups, i actually had a lot of fun at AC this year! would have had a lot more fun if  scorchedwings coulda joined me, but there's always next year for that.

I got there wednesday night with a few friends and did the usual for most furs at a con, and got a little tipsy that night. i hadn't planned on it, of course since the con hadn't even started yet, but if someone hands you a shot of jager... X3

that night, my friend Amma won the con. if you already know the story, then good job. if not, it's funny but you're probably better off not asking.

thursday was mostly spent wandering around and visiting people in the hotel because i hadn't registered, nor was i planning to due to lack of funds. i didn't even have money to eat really! i brought all my food with me for the weekend, lol. but it worked. especially since my roomie kyte took me out for a real food a couple times so i wouldn't get sick from eating just PB&J and noodle cups all weekend. Thursday night, once again in typical furry fashion, got tipsy and wandered around from room to room visiting with people. myself and a group of friends walked down by the river in front of the convention center and hung out there for a bit, all of us pretty tipsy, but having a good time, lol. i did something i prolly wouldn't have done sober unless i really needed to, and i'm not gonna discuss that here. but do know, that it was pretty funny. i laughed at myself the whole time i was doing it. and you'll never know what it is! unless of course you were there, or i sent you a drunk text about it.

Friday was a big day. i waited in line for registration because, even though i wasn't planning on registering, my friend Irish didn't want me to just spend the whole weekend wandering around the hotel so he fronted the monies for it because he's awesome. picked up a badge from the dealer's den that i'd had commissioned at morphicon of last year... was supposed to be a connecting badge with scorch, but meh. i'd already waited over a year, she wasn't done with his yet, and i didn't feel like waiting another year for her to redo it. it's pretty anyways! i'll scan it and upload it soon. following the same theme, did some drinking that night, had fun at the hub's mixer (free booze!) it was tequila night for me. yum.

Saturday was fun as well, only caught a bit of the fursuit parade because i was helping a sick friend, but it's okay. i caught a little of it. but then my camera died so... not very many pictures of it, lol. smoked some hookah up on the roof of the convention center with some people, that was fun. then in leiu of going to see 2's show, or watch the fireworks, i went to hang out at the hub some more because there were a couple friends there i wanted to see. that was where my one snag for this convention happened. some creepy guy showed up, nobody knew from where, and he wasn't even a furry! somehow he found his way to the hub, completely trashed, and started coming on to me. very much so. it was kinda scaring me a little bit because i've got issues like that and he was getting kinda touchy feely with me. a few of my friends intervened and kept him away from me while the room's owner's called up the dorsi to get rid of him. i waited a little bit before leaving the hub, but i was still kinda freaking out a little bit, so i went back downstairs and outside to chainsmoke i think it was four cigarettes to get my hands to stop shaking while i called up scorch so that he could help calm me down. my friends all kept me occupied for the rest of the night. coming back in from outside however, the guy found me again in the lobby which kinda freaked me out again so i kinda ran away and was jumpy for a while. did a bit more drinking that night while hanging out with people in their rooms and that made me feel better.

Sunday came, the last day of the con. uber sad face. spent alot of the day tracking down a few people who were leaving to say goodbye and all that, earned myself an ice cream sammich (that i didn't stay to collect on) from bushycat because she's awesome and i was one of her minions and helped carry some of her stuff up from the dealer's den to her room. Hung out with some friends the rest of the afternoon after closing ceremonies over in the doubletree, having alot of fun, came back to the westin to go to my room and finish off what little bit of booze i had left so i wouldn't have to worry about taking it home with me. i did a really good job at rationing that to last the whole weekend!

Then monday morning came and we were on the road home shortly after noon checkout. i ended up sleeping through most of the trip because i was really really tired. but i was happy to get home again! i did get a small case of PCD, mostly because i went from hanging out with people every day to almost the complete opposite, but i got over it pretty fast.

Now, i know i didn't mention too many names in my journal, but that's only because i met and hung out with sooooo many people during the con! if you're one of those people, i had a blast, lol and i can't wait to do it again next year.

*giggles* re-reading through this journal has made me realize how much of a party "girl" i was all weekend, drinking and party hopping, lol. it was fun.

in other news: i now have a twitter account! you can look me up there under fidgetfennec, same as my IM stuffs. not quite sure what i'll even use it for, but i've got one anyways! gotta find people to watch now, lol
