Politics are a topic meant to make me feel like:
-my viewpoints are wrong
-what I'm supporting is evil
-all politicians are corrupt, sinister and go in some wrong direction
-there is no right choice
-everything is so confusing, yet the answers are super obvious
-I'm a retard, and should have no right to vote, or at least, I should instead ask a smarter person as to how I should vote, because that way it's not my vote, so I won't have to feel as bad about it
I seriously have no problems feel awful about myself and hating my own guts. I don't need politics to barge in and make me feel like I should stop existing.
No matter how happy or inspired I can feel, politics will without a doubt crush me and make me feel like life isn't worth living anymore.
.... I felt the need to vent... so I did..... God damn this entire world

See, I used to be in the "hate Trump" camp. WELL, partially at least. Once he won the elections, I just accepted it and decided to move on. I didn't panic over it. Admittedly I don't live in the US, but ... regardless.
Since then a certain friend has been trying to show me alternative viewpoints, like... why did so many people vote for Trump? and... if it is just people being stupid, racist, sexist and homophobic? .... and it really wasn't. Trump is a shit president, but there are reasons why people still voted for him.
This however poses a problem. The friend claims he didn't try to sway me from being a democrat. He just wanted to show me the alternative side, but that feels awful. The Republicans still sound bad, but now the democrats sound bad too.
How about Germany? I now see that the party currently in charge is letting in way too many refugees, while not doing anything to solve the conflict in Syria. I cannot support them, but... again, I don't see the benefits of supporting anyone else either.
Or my home country of Poland. All of these modern stories of how crazy the liberals have gotten and how mad it gets, but Poland is still stuck in the early 20th century with things being super old fashioned with the retarded right in power, BUT even there I have to stop ask "maybe their anti-refugee stance is good in the long run?".
I just do not know what to believe. I'm confused, talking about politics depresses me, and I feel like not being part of all of this, since it seems like everybody is evil, everything is the wrong choice, so... why even bother?
