looking for art advice/ recommendations
so i want to start doing conventions and my own merchandise, i'm thinking the basic, prints, buttons, and stickers
already have button machines but is it worth it to invest in a fancy printer that can also print vinyl stickers? or would it be easier to get a cheaper printer for basic prints and buttons but then order my stickers from a separate company?
I also want to get a scanner but apparently it's impossible to find a flat laying one that isn't 200$ ??

Flatbed scanners come in a wide array of prices. I personally bought mine about 3-5 years ago for ~$70.
if you would rather sell small batches (less than 100) of your products I think it would probably be more cost effective to make them yourself and/or share tools/supplies with other artists
if you would rather sell large batches (def *more* than 100) I think it would make more sense to let an outside company make the products
idk about scanners tbh, I still use my school's scanner xD
