A pair of cocksure hunters facing off against a griffon! Waiting in her nest, they lie in wait inside the neat cluster of branches, twigs, and mud until not one but two arrive! One had a successful hunt and a full belly. The other? An empty stomach. Nothing like food being delivered and waiting at home.~

Not bad at all. I just dont get the pupose of the full griff.

To watch, and affirm to the two their hopeless situation. Even if one escapes, the griffon with a full tum would hunt the escapee down and play with them like a cat with prey until their mate arrives for bloody seconds.

Mmm, maybe something along the entry scenario of the jaws unleashed game? Oceanic creature escaping the aquatic park. Trapped there, an orca could only try to see revenge and freedom. To reach his goal, assuming he can communicate, eh would study the trainers and other humans around. He/She would find a couple of worker, and during a night shift or something, he/she would eat one of the couple, threatening of the digestion of that one if the other don't find a way to make the orca go back to the sea. Once fred though, it isn't sure that he/she would free the human "hostage"

How about the doors and gates get controlled with rfid chips and he swallows trainers with those cards and beaches himself to unlock one after the other?

Depends on how much you want to draw.
A two panel solution could be the trainer his chip card and some fish getting torn up in the whale's forestomach and the second would be the whale exiting its enclosure undisturbed.
