Are my Prices too high?

Hey, guys. I've got a question for you, and I'd like to ask you all to answer honestly.
I'm a strong writer, and I know I'm talented. I'm not trying to toot my own horn here, honestly. It's just I've been trying to weigh the pros and cons of my prices and fees for commissions. I haven't had too many, though the ones I have done left my commissioners happy and very much satisfied.
I arrived at my decision for my prices based on the rate at which I write on average and comparing other writers' fees I've seen here on FA. So, that being said, it comes to my question. Is $20 per 1000 words too unreasonable for most of you? Should I try lowering my prices a bit, perhaps run a sale? What do you guys think? I could really use some outside input here.

Do you have more commissions to write than you have writing time? If so, then your prices are fine.
Given the number of commission ideas I've been pushing at you, I suspect that you're in Category Two. :)
