Wednesday August 2:
My Disney/Megaplex trip started with a late night flight to Orlando. The plane was delayed so I didn’t land until after Midnight. I met up with Drake   Babydrake at the airport (who was rooming with me that night) and headed to the hotel. Once checked in we went to my room and straight to bed since we had to be up early.

Thursday August 3:
Today was Disney World! Even more exciting I would be meeting good friends in person for the first time.

Drake and I dressed like the toddlers we are at heart. Dressed in shortalls and cute clothes we grabbed our plushies and headed to the lobby to meet Mwako   s_kuma , Gem   toddlergirl and her husband Paul. After introductions and hugs the 5 of us piled into Mwako’s car and were off to Disney’s Magic Kingdom for a magical day. Shortly after we arrived the remainder of our group, Marina   marinaneira and her husband Chris, joined us.

As you may have seen on her page, Marina had made badges for everyone to wear at Disney. We made quite the sight. With Chris & Paul the only two really dressed like adults. Mwako was in shortalls but looked pretty normal. Drake of course was a pink overload, I looked like a kid but not to Gem’s level. She was cute as a button in her dress, bloomers and little girl sandals.

In addition to the badge, Marina had also gotten me a Happy Birthday button (my birthday was actually the next day). Of course the button ensured every Disney Cast member said Happy Birthday as I passed, and that restaurant staff sang Happy Birthday to me before giving me a cookie.

Lots of rides and shows followed, including dancing in the parade and a fantastic firework & projection show.

Back at the hotel I ran into Mikey   mikey-the-little & Lucca   lucca I got give them the hug promised long ago (getting Mikey’s permission for a hug was a massive achievement) and received some unexpected gifts – a badge, card & teddy bear.

All in a great day – probably the best of the whole trip.

Friday August 4th:
Happy Birthday to me! Ember and I headed to registration to pickup my con badge and swag (which I dumped in my room). Then it was off to the Opening Ceremony’s. I met up with Gem & Paul (unplanned) and we sat together.

Next up was the dealers den. I went straight to Marina’s booth to collect a bunch of stuff I ordered. I put on the con badges for Ember and I, and my birthday themed button, while storing the coloring books in my bag. Then she surprised me with birthday gift – a sweet card, toy polar bear, storybook and space themed socks!

Next to Marina was Blankit’s   Blankit table, where I pickup a badge I preordered and her coloring book. Blankit also surprised me with an unexpected gift – sweet teddy bear socks!

From there I started to hit the panels. First up was Puck's hilarious "Con Etiquette", Where you learned what not to do by watching what he did.

Then I was off to the "Writing Workshop". Unfortunately I didn't know you could bring a piece to share for feedback, or I would have done so.

The "Fur-hiker's Travel Guide" & "Overcoming Social Anxiety" panels were slightly disappointing. I thought the former would have more tips & tricks, and the latter kind of fell flat of its goal (maybe the panel was misnamed?).

Between panels I met Wen   wen and having stated my Crinklebutt pride, got my Crinkle Crinkle band.

With the dealers den closed it was time for an entertaining dinner at the T-Rex cafe. Our Disney group (Drake, Mwako, Gem & Paul, Marina & Chris) was joined by Wen & Kiama   Kit_Kiama , Blankit and her boyfriend.


Saturday August 5th:
Saturday started with the Babyfur Breakfast. Gem and Paul were also going so we met up and headed over together. Overall a very delicious and fun start to the day - but it did feature 2 embarrassing moments. I ended up asking the person next to me if Monti/Acan was here, only to find out THEY were Monti! And second, when paying the bill the hostess asked "was everything OK BABY?" - but she quickly said "was everything OK honey?". I'm sure I blushed but being called baby was kind of fun.

I wandered around a bit meeting people until it was time for the Fursuit Games. After the games I went for a drink and ran into Mikey & Lucca in the bar. We had a nice long talk and got to know each other a bit better.

I would have done the Fursuit Parade but rain canceled it. So I wandered some more and relaxed before the Babyfur Meet.

Finally time came for the most anticipated event of the con. Diapered in Little Pawz, and dressed in a Teddy Bear onesie, shortall (w/ crotch snaps) and OTK purple/lavender striped socks, I looked quite cubby! I felt awkward as I crossed the hotel grounds to get to the event, but was it worth it! SO many cute cubs all having a great time. I got to be little with my friends, especially Marina & Gem which was a real treat. Paul read us Cock-a-doodle Moo which was an awesome time. I even got   colby-hedgey to whack me with his yellow crayon.

Marina, Drake and I left the meet a little early to get some dinner with   kennykitsune ,   kameronspottyfox &   oberrivers

Sunday August 6th:

I spent most of the morning trying to find friends and say goodbye's since I knew some were leaving early. It was hard to say goodbye after so short a time together. I also finally found Kelvin the Lion and got Mythies Book 2.

I took in one last panel (Improving Your Fiction) and went to the Pawpets Show. I had never seen the show before so I didn't know what to expect (or the dangers of a front row seat). The show was hilarious and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Finally it was time for the Closing Ceremonies. It was here I learned a Make-a-Wish kid was at the con, and their story brought me to tears. The level of joy they got from interacting with the fursuiters, that’s our fandom at its finest.

One last dinner with the Disney group to finish off my trip. Unfortunately Marina & Chris had to leave early, but the rest of us had a great time over pizza.

Once back at the hotel I packed up and got some sleep for my flight home in the morning.

Over all I had a fantastic time. Your all fantastic people and I can’t wait to see you all again.
