I realize it isn't too terribly likely but;
if you're reading this, and you still support President Trump in any way, please do us both a huge favor and unwatch me. And, if if I follow you, please let me know so I can unfollow you in return. Thanks.

I don't disagree with your journal in the slightest.
Nazis were German. That's one.
They had a giant war machine that destroyed half of my country (I'm Polish), levelled Warsaw - the capitol - to the ground, killed 6 millions of Jews and a lot of Europe's population, leaving the entire continent in shambles.
So... Lunatic? Maybe. Idiot? Maybe. Person I disagree with? Very likely.
But tossing the word Nazi left and right is a bad idea. Because I assure you, if the actual Nazis returned, you'd be hanging on the tree, instead of leaves.
Same from the other side of barricade. I do not want people calling me homophobic for not wanting to suck a dick, I do not want people calling me fascist because I choose to think for myself, I do not want to be called a racist just because I decided to hire a person who fits the job better (and happens to be white).
BOTH sides have whackjobs, and BOTH sides need to stop. Otherwise this will keep going on forever, until someone pushes the scales a bit too far.
To rephrase: So at what point IS it appropriate to call someone a Nazi in your eyes? Since you sent intent on downplaying that here.
And they did this:
http://reformjudaism.org/blog/2017/.....munity-presses
"For half an hour, three men dressed in fatigues and armed with semi-automatic rifles stood across the street from the temple. Had they tried to enter, I don’t know what I could have done to stop them, but I couldn’t take my eyes off them, either. Perhaps the presence of our armed guard deterred them. Perhaps their presence was just a coincidence, and I’m paranoid. I don’t know.
Several times, parades of Nazis passed our building, shouting, “There's the synagogue!” followed by chants of “Seig Heil” and other anti-Semitic language. Some carried flags with swastikas and other Nazi symbols.
A guy in a white polo shirt walked by the synagogue a few times, arousing suspicion. Was he casing the building, or trying to build up courage to commit a crime? We didn’t know. Later, I noticed that the man accused in the automobile terror attack wore the same polo shirt as the man who kept walking by our synagogue; apparently it’s the uniform of a white supremacist group. Even now, that gives me a chill."
I would be perfectly happy to let the past be the past. The problem is these jackasses won't. If they want to act like Nazis I see no reason not to name them as such. Shit like this has to be stopped before it spreads.
If those guys call it themsevles, then they're obviously raging lunatics, and I have no respect for them.
Gotta admit, at times it almost feels like from both sides there's at least one maniac that has morals low enough to do something extra for cash.
Anyways, thanks for clarifying that part of information that I missed out, helped me a bit.
Also, left-wing violence in the US is not, by any statistic I've seen, anywhere near the level of right-wing violence.
But no Antifa member killed anyone in Charlottesville. There were scuffles between antifa members and the neo-nazi demonstrators that did become violent though. The girl who was killed was not an Antifa member, but a peaceful counter protestor who openly feared the violence before attending the rally and worried about her safety, but still went.
So there's back and forth between brushing antifa's violence under the rug because it wasn't nearly as bad as the murder, and people who want to say "no, see violence happened from both sides!" without putting things into context.
And then there's the rest of this country who are rational thinkers who can objectively look at this and say we are not blakc and white and we will not be boxed into only two categories, left and right, and we will not affiliate ourselves who either violent group for political or personal gain, but instead reject violent individuals who pretend to act on the behalf of a greater number of people.
There was no "both sides" there that day. This was a straight up murder, and Trumo is too much of a coward to alienate his voter base by calling a spade a spade.
But antifa and neo-nazis both really need to stop being used as representative of the whole political spectrum they ally themselves with, because I don't know very many that support beating up innocent people regardless of their belief systems.
Here's even a good article on that topic you should read. http://dailycaller.com/2017/06/16/t.....-mind-blowing/
I'm sure many people feel the same way about Obama as you do about Trump.
Plots to burn down an entire town (Islamburg, 2015)
Tries to detonate a truck bomb (last fucking weekend, https://www.justice.gov/usao-wdok/p.....-oklahoma-city)
Walk into a church and murder multiple people (Dylan Roof)
Walk into a mosque and murder multiple people (Quebec, this year)
Threaten to burn down a synagogue after standing threateningly outside it in Nazi gear (last weekend)
Take over federal land and threaten to kill anyone who tries to arrest them (Oregon, last year)
And that's not counting all the countless tiny incidents. Or the propaganda. Richard Spencer didn't get punched because antifa "thinks he's a Nazi" he got punched because he calls for ethnic cleansing!
Your go to if you want to talk about real violence should be Dallas last year or the Congressional shooting earlier this year. The left has it's share of wackos but pretending things are in any way equivalent is laughable.

Tolerance is a peace treaty that is broken by calls for
oppression and dehumanization.
Tolerance only works when both sides are willing to live and
let live. Nazis define *themselves* by their unwillingness to
let others live in peace. So they've broken the peace treaty,
and punching them isn't even an escalation given that the
methods of the Klan and Nazis are murderous.
If you're trying to murder me, and l merely punch you back,
that is a *restrained* response.
Trump is largely continuing Obama's wars and military deployments (US soldiers are deployed in over 130 countries) and Obama continued Bushes. There is a continuity between all three of them. The rich get richer, the police get more powerful, and the wars continue.
Identity politics will never defeat it, and only divide people more.
You're a high quality hyena. <3
