Is a very VERY good game. Can't even say good. It's awesome!
The gameplay and controls just feel so smooth and even while the visuals and graphics are very beautiful to look at for a old school 2D game. Just the frame by frame for the sprite animations really breath a lot of life around it's surroundings with level designs feeling very exciting to explore around while also maintaining an emphasis on speed and adrenaline as every good Sonic game should.
But the best thing is the FUCKING MUSIC!
The music is the best mixture of old Sonic 1 -3 as well as the more house/techno edge of Sonic CD.
It's one of my favorite soundtracks in the entire series (Metallic Madness Act 1 is just NNNNNNNNNG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNxrS4F_HwM )
I really recommend this game wholeheartedly especially if you're a fan or lost interest in Sonic.
