Good Morning!
I haven't really done anything on this account in... 3 years. xD I constantly browse, but I never post anything. I might soon, though, should I plan to offer commissions through here, too. And I think I need another place to potentially talk. I can't really get myself to talk on Twitter much, yet. And some info here wouldn't really be relevant to those watching me on Twitter.
What's been stopping me from doing anything here?
First it was college (I've finally graduated!). Now, it's trying to finish up old things (or being haunted by them, haha). Not personal works, but stuff for other people. A couple online and one offline. But now it's even harder to go through them. In the beginning of August, my cousin's friend helped me and my other cousin get a job as temps at this company that makes tables and stages (usually for educational settings). We're in the department that makes the parts for them. We're on 2nd shift, which is 3:30PM - 2AM on Monday through Thursday. And it's been so exhausting for me that I don't really get up until I have to leave the next day. And! Since it's close to school time, there's been mandatory overtime on Friday (another 10 hours) and Saturday (just 5, but it's still begrudgingly slow) because of all the orders coming in. This has also halted progress on starting a commissions advertisement and pieces to start 'em off. Weekends are too short to do much. And my living situation right now doesn't give me much space or quiet time. So! It's probably gonna be a long, long while before I can offer any.
But when I do offer commissions, I think they mostly will be digital sketch commissions, even colored commissions, as long as they're applied sketch-ily. xD What I offer may expand if conditions are good. I was also hoping to put animations to offer, too, but I'm gonna need more time to figure out how I'm going to handle that.
That sounds like a lot of stuff. How will you ever have time to yourself?
Either get up early or stay up late! Like my student days. I'm gonna have to, there's still a lot to do. For what? I'll be attending Furry Migration again this year! Mandatory overtime, you say? I already let my supervisor know when I started and got the A-OK for it. Put a reminder note in their mailbox, too. Might be picking up business cards later today or later in the week (hopefully before Friday). I want to try asking for commissions again (which I'm not good at. I either don't know what to get or I keep thinking I should just do it myself, haha) so I'm trying to make new refs for Blurry and Chou. I want asking to be fun. Gotta try and make it fun. I also still plan on being part of Artist's Alley. But again, only offering sketch commissions like last year (sorry for those that liked and wanted full colored-pencil commissions. Please consider asking for anything else you'd like). BUT. This time, it'll be sketch commissions using more than just pencil and/or ink. Like I mentioned with offering digital commissions, I'm gonna try the same thing traditionally at the con. So I could give you lovely pencil sketches, but you could also get some ink, brush ink, colored pencil, even some sparkle on it; on white or tan sketch paper (size of your hand for reference. As long as your hand, but wider. Not too big. Smaller 8.5x11) The sparkle will be from this glitter pen I bought, which can be used on any color. I feel like I could use it for some pretty fun stuff. I also got extra black, grey, and white colored pencils, plus a white gel pen for the tan paper if you want some monochromatic stuff. The not too big paper size and sketch limit are so that whatever I do could be done within con time. I really don't want to take anything past then. They'll get stalled for who knows how long. BUTBUTBUT!
Before doing all that, I need to try to do some tests and make some examples so people know what they can get. Those are gonna take a while, and I've only got mornings and nights to do them. Hopefully they go quick, but still beautiful. I really want them to work out. OTL
Yep! Lots of stuff, I hope I can do it all. Hope I've said everything I was thinking of saying. I sort of want every journal to be a wall of text, observations, thoughts, and questions. (lol) Those I'm already familiar with from Furry Migration, let me see you and say hi at least once! Maybe exchange social medias. xD I heard they were gonna try and do Art Jam and Adult Art Jam again this year. Lemme see you there! And to those I've yet to meet, I hope to make connections with as many of you as I can, both for business and platonically. c:
I still might not post any artwork yet, so if you want to see what I've worked on lately, check my tumblr and twitter.

They're almost the same. Tumblr has some older stuff, though. Twitter has a bunch of animation retweets and likes that I think you guys would like to see. It's all good stuff. And there's about maybe 5 hours more of sleep I could get. Unless I get called to pick up business cards. So good night!
