I also read an article that said for a second or two, nothing would happen. Five seconds, uncertain. Ten seconds is probably too long. Twenty seconds is definitely too long.
A couple of glimpses like 10-15-ish minutes before the max o3o It's pretty neat to see (during those small glimpses) half of the sun sparkling and brighter than the other side which is where it was heading from.
Couldn't see jack when it was a 92% totality here though! Luckily some bystander lent me their glasses for a bit ;v;
